Introduction

The irresistible Limon Sutil Limes are a peruvian exotic fruit that offer a burst of vibrant flavour and zest.

History

The Limon Sutil Lime, often hailed as the "King of Limes," originated from the coastal regions of South America, particularly Chile and Peru. Historically, it played a vital role in indigenous cuisines and traditional medicine, revered for its potent citrusy essence and health benefits.

Regions

Primarily cultivated along the Pacific coast of South America, Limon Sutil Limes thrive in the mild climate and nutrient-rich environment of regions such as Chile, Peru, and parts of Argentina. Today, its cultivation has expanded to other tropical and subtropical regions, including Mexico, Florida, and select areas in Asia and Africa.

Flavours & Texture

Limon Sutil Limes are renowned for their exceptional flavour profile, characterised by a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. The thin, smooth skin encapsulates juicy pulp bursting with tangy citrus notes, reminiscent of lemon and mandarin, with subtle floral undertones.

Preparation

Limon Sutil Limes can be sliced, juiced, or zested according to preference. The juice and zest of Limon Sutil Limes lend themselves brilliantly to a wide array of dishes.
