Introduction
History
The White Flesh Nectarine originated in ancient China. Nectarines themselves are believed to have originated in Asia and were later introduced to Europe and America. The White Flesh Nectarine is a delightful mutation of the traditional nectarine, loved for its smooth, pale flesh and sweeter flavour.
Regions
Originally cultivated in China, the White Flesh Nectarine has spread its roots across the globe. Today, it is predominantly grown in regions with warm climates such as California, Spain, Italy, and parts of Australia.
Flavours & Texture
The White Flesh Nectarine is renowned for its succulent, juicy flesh and delicate, sweet flavour. Unlike the traditional yellow nectarine, the white flesh variety offers a milder, sweeter, less acidic taste with subtle floral undertones. Its texture is smooth and velvety.
Preparation
Gently wash the fruit, then slice the nectarine in half and remove the pit.
