Introduction

The Owari satsuma has a bright orange seedless flesh with a superior flavour and texture. It's a sister variety to the Miho Wase satsuma.

Regions

The Owari satsuma is an ancient variety originating from Japan. It's believed to have come from the old Japanese province of Owari. Nowadays, it's grown in Japan, Korea, Turkey, Spain, South Africa, California, Peru, and Argentina.

Flavours & Texture

The Owari satsuma is very plump and juicy, with a tender flesh that melts in your mouth. The flavour is sweet and slightly tangy with a subtle metallic note.

Peel away the skin to reveal the juicy segments within and enjoy them fresh.

Customers are responsible for being present at the shipping address on the delivery date. Exotic Fruits are not responsible for any missed or attempted deliveries that must be rearranged by the customer.

All orders are packed in cardboard boxes with a biodegradable packing pellets, straw, or hay to protect the fruit during transit.

RETURNS

Let's start by stating the obvious. Since our produce is perishable, we cannot accept returns.​

​That said, we want every customer to be happy, so we do offer vouchers, refunds and replacements at our sole discretion if your fruit has arrived inedible. If you would like to report an item which has become damaged or perished during transit, please:-

  • Take a photo of the inedible product
  • Put the product into your refrigerator
  • Report the problem here: exfr.me/report

All requests must contact us within 24 hours of order receipt.

We are not responsible for products that spoil if there is not someone to receive your delivery on the date that you request it, full tracking is provided and can be requested anytime after dispatch.
