Introduction
History
The Nules Clementine has its roots embedded in the sun-soaked groves of Spain. Named after the town of Nules in the Castellón province, this variety emerged from the meticulous cultivation practices that have been passed down through generations. The history of Nules Clementine is a testament to the artistry of citrus cultivation in Spain, with the fruit gaining popularity for its exceptional flavor and vibrant aroma.
Regions
Originating in the Valencian region of Spain, the Nules Clementine has found its way into orchards across the globe. The ideal climate of the Mediterranean, characterized by warm days and cool nights, contributes to the fruit's sweetness and balanced acidity. Apart from its native Spain, Nules Clementine is now cultivated in various citrus-regions, including California, Morocco, and parts of South America.
Flavours & Texture
A harmonious blend of sweet and tart notes defines the Nules Clementine. The thin, easy-to-peel skin reveals juicy, seedless segments bursting with citrus goodness. Its flavour profile is a symphony of sweetness with just the right touch of tanginess, making it a perfect snack for those who appreciate the subtleties of citrus fruits. The texture is both succulent and refreshing, providing a delightful eating experience with every bite.
Preparation
Peel away the thin skin to reveal the juicy segments within. Add Nules Clementine segments to salads for a burst of citrus freshness, or squeeze the juice to create refreshing beverages.
