History

The Quiyue pear originated in China. It holds a special place in Chinese culture, symbolising longevity, prosperity, and beauty.

The Quiyue pear thrives in the temperate climates of China, particularly in the Shandong province, where it has been cultivated for generations. Its cultivation has also expanded to other regions within China, including Hebei, Shaanxi, and Shanxi provinces. Today, the Quiyue pear's popularity has led to its cultivation in other parts of the world with suitable growing conditions, such as South Korea, Japan, and parts of Europe.
