The Red Dragon Fruit plant is a species of cactus native to South America. It belongs to the pitaya family and is known to be the sweetest of all pitaya varieties.
Red Dragon Fruit is less sweet than the white-fleshed varieties. Its flesh has a mild acidity with texture similar to kiwi fruit.
