Initially cultivated in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, Rio Red Grapefruit has since spread its roots to various citrus-friendly regions globally. Today, you'll find these ruby red gems flourishing in sunny orchards across not only Texas but also in parts of Arizona, California, and other warm climates. The combination of ample sunshine and well-drained soils contributes to the unique flavour profile that sets Rio Red apart from other grapefruit varieties.
