Well thanks to some clever cultivators in South America we now know it produces a striking white strawberry with red seeds. But the fun doesn't stop there, its still sweet like a strawberry apart from it tastes a bit like a pineapple!
Pineberries are extremely rare and only available for a select few weeks each year.
Pineberries were first found growing in South America in 2002 before becoming available in the US in 2012, and now here in the UK - albeit for a very short time!
They are currently grown commercially in the United States, Belgium and Netherlands.
