History
The Black Java Plum, also known as Syzygium cumini or Jamun, originated in the Indian subcontinent. Historically, it has been referenced in ancient Indian scriptures for its therapeutic properties and esteemed as a symbol of health and vitality.
Regions
Native to the Indian subcontinent, the Black Java Plum is primarily cultivated in countries such as India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and parts of Southeast Asia. It can also be found in parts of Africa, South America, and Australia.
Flavours & Texture
The Black Java Plum offers a unique flavour profile that combines sweetness with a subtle tanginess, reminiscent of a blend between berries and plums. Its deep purple to black skin encases a juicy, reddish-purple pulp that is both refreshing and mildly acidic. The texture varies from slightly firm to tender, with a pleasingly smooth consistency.

If no date is selected, your order will be dispatched at the next available date. We cannot guarantee delivery will be possible on the chosen date. You will receive an email notification with tracking details when your order is dispatched.

Customers are responsible for being present at the shipping address on the delivery date. Exotic Fruits are not responsible for any missed or attempted deliveries that must be rearranged by the customer.
All orders are packed in cardboard boxes with a biodegradable packing pellets, straw, or hay to protect the fruit during transit.
RETURNS
Let's start by stating the obvious. Since our produce is perishable, we cannot accept returns.
That said, we want every customer to be happy, so we do offer vouchers, refunds and replacements at our sole discretion if your fruit has arrived inedible. If you would like to report an item which has become damaged or perished during transit, please:- All requests must contact us within 24 hours of order receipt. We are not responsible for products that spoil if there is not someone to receive your delivery on the date that you request it, full tracking is provided and can be requested anytime after dispatch.
